Guntash Gill is a Partner at Tidal Law LLP, practicing exclusively in divorce and family law.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, she advises clients across Alberta on a full range of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce proceedings, high-conflict separations, parenting and decision-making disputes, child and spousal support, division of matrimonial property, and the negotiation and drafting of domestic agreements.
Guntash represents clients at all stages of dispute resolution, from negotiation and mediation to litigation. She has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Alberta Court of Appeal, and is recognized for her ability to deliver practical, results-driven outcomes in complex and sensitive matters.
She obtained her law degree from the University of Leicester, graduating with Upper Class Honours, and holds a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Guntash began her legal career at a full-service firm in Edmonton, where she articled and practiced as an associate, before further developing her family law practice in Sherwood Park. She joined Tidal Law LLP in April 2026.
